Oregano (Mexican) .7 oz

Mexican Oregano comes from a different plant than Greek Oregano, and the plant is actually more closely related to Lemon Verbena. Its flavor, however, is like that of oregano but with a slightly more celery-like note. Whole leaves are preferred for fine culinary purposes and are intended to be crushed by hand to release additional flavor.
